Rob Simmonds, PhD. (Bath, UK)TeleSim Research Manager My time is split between my own research, managing other TeleSim research projects and planning future research directions for the group. My main research interests at the moment are in the areas of conservative parallel discrete event simulation and parallel network emulation. Apart from working with TeleSim I am also involved with the MACI high performance computing project. My role within MACI is as system architect and member of the executive committee. When I am not working I like to measure bits of string and poke fun at people with degrees in Computer Science. |
